Lt Col Charlie Brown I just met a group of raucous older women (y’know, our ages ;D) meeting in a diner yesterday who told me that’s there’s tons of patriot groups springing up statewide. Interesting!

She'd rather pick on a person that what's to better his and his families lives here, than to admit that she screwed up big time with the nursing home bungle sister Sgt (Join to see)

Whitmer is Cuomo number 2. She should be charged as an accomplice to the murder of each person at an elder's facility who died as a result of her orders.

I’m concerned that she won’t find an unbiased judge to hear her case but I don’t doubt that her case could raise money to reach the SCOTUS if they’ll hear it. I’m not sure what the local appeals court is like for MI, but SCOTUS could rule favorably if the case makes it there before Bidamala packs it.

This lady very clearly and intentionally violated the existing law. She was RIGHTLY arrested and jailed.

Do I agree with the law? Nope. But her ONLY legal defense is fighting the legality of the law, itself. If the courts rule that the laws - to include operate without a license - are Constitutional (both according to state and national Constitutions) she is well and truly stuck - AS SHE SHOULD BE.

SFC Casey O'Mally Agree to disagree. If the “existing law” is corrupted, or leaders treacherous, should citizens be obligated to obey? (Btw, significant wars in America have been fought over these matters).

Many Michiganders believe that the “existing law” regarding Covid restrictions is corrupted since Whitmer circumvented the Michigan Supreme Court’s ruling which curtailed her emergency powers. We witnessed the Guv and Nessel, her right hand man, get the Michigan Health Department to further her rulings on Covid lockdowns and then we witnessed the Director of the health department beat a hasty retreat from his position just recently, hush money $$ in hand from Gretchen.
No, we are not good with those Dem shenanigans here.

Sgt (Join to see) - I don't agree with the law. But....Pavlos-Hackney made a deliberate and conscious decision to disobey the law. That is a verifiable fact that cannot really be disputed or contested.

Her ONLY defense is an argument that either the law itself, or the application of the law violated one of the two Constitutions (US or Michigan). She chose to roll the dice on getting the law to be declared unConstitutional. If the courts do not agree with her, then she STILL stands in direct and deliberate violation of law - and deserves what she gets.

The CORRECT way to handle this, IMHO, would have been to comply and to immediately sue, fighting the Constitutionality of the law itself. She would have obvious standing due to lost income from shutting down her business. In this way, she can fight the law while still avoiding unnecessary risk to her freedom or FURTHER financial risk from being arrested. If the courts rule against her, not only will she face every bit of financial problems she WOULD have faced with complying, but ADDITIONAL problems due to legal fees, fines, and re-instatement fees. Plus... you know... jail time.

SFC Casey O'Mally - You say citizens should comply with the faint hope they'll get a fair shake even as they lose their freedoms along with their businesses? Because I already showed how corrupt our state’s government system is here, including the ineffective court system, I disagree with you and say every citizen should Resist with whatever is in them to resist, by whatever means. — just as the Left showed us since Trumps Inauguration Day, and every week after that for 4 years.

Sgt (Join to see) - Absolutely. By all means resist. Fight the power. Just expect to be jailed and fined for it - and rightly so. If you want to deliberately and directly disobey existing laws, then you should absolutely be held to account for being a criminal. Period.

We live in a SOCIETY. We don't get to pick and choose which laws we will follow. If you don't follow the law, you get arrested, charged, and (hopefully) convicted, Period.

I don't agree with MOST of the speed limits around here. But if I get caught cruising 45MPH through a school zone, I have no right to bitch. I disobeyed the law, I accept my fine. I disagree with DUI laws. I don't get to drive drunk and argue that I am merely asserting my rights. Most gun restrictions are CLEAR violations of the 2A. I don't get to send my kid to school with an AR-15 for show and tell and bitch about how bad the gun laws are.

Either you follow the laws, or you are a criminal. Period. If you don't like the laws, either change them or move to a different place that has different laws.
