It was always one of my favorites. I grew up watching them take off and land at Kadena AFB on Okinawa as a kid and still watching them go when I was in the Marines. I loves watching them make bombing runs at the range in Crow Valley in the Philippine's. They were incredible.
The saying, back in the day, was that the F4 Phantom was the Air Force's proof that with enough jet propulsion, even a brick could fly. Of course everyone, not just the USAF flew them.

I am sure we have some in the aviation museums, but not many still flyable.
