Keep in mind that the USA also had a Racist-In-Chief in the White House. From the Wikipedia article on Jesse Owens: "He was the most successful athlete at the Games and, as a black man, was credited with "single-handedly crushing Hitler's myth of Aryan supremacy", although he "wasn't invited to the White House to shake hands with the President, either." Of course, what can you expect from a racist President that would send 120,000 +/- Americans to concentration camps because of their Japanese heritage, but not do the same to people of Italian of German descent? In case you haven't figured it out, I can't stand FDR. If people want to tear down monuments, they should start with that racist bastard.
