Under the current Democratic president, the United States just had one of its best years for job creation since the 1990s. More than 17 million people have gained access to health insurance. Gas prices are down, crime has declined, and high school graduation rates are at an all-time high.
But none of that has truly become a rallying cry for those in President Obama’s party seeking to succeed him.
Americans are deeply anxious about the nation’s security and their personal finances. Polls show that only one-quarter of them think the country is on the right track. As a result, the Democratic White House hopefuls face a dilemma that Republicans are relishing.

because not everything is about gas and job.
The health care cost actually skyrocketed.
Common core actually lowered the math and science score of students.
Terrorist related attack jumped.
And this gun grabbing ... (it maybe just tiny baby step), it agitated a huge 2nd Amendment base ...
19 trillion .... and will properly 20 trillion ....when any changes can be applied.
Average wages dropped ....
lowest Democratic registered voter ever recorded.
blah blah blah ...

Well, there's the story the Administration is telling us rubes about how wonderful the economy is and how jobs are doing so well, and then there's the story they're telling each other, the real story. I'm depressed because I don't believe either. I, like many Americans, things are far worse than even the lies they're telling themselves. Just look around. You know people, don't you, who have been unemployed so long they no longer receive benefits (and, more importantly) are no long counted. More than a third of millennials are living with their parents. Aircraft carriers are tied up at docks waiting for overdue repairs. Aircraft crews are cannibalizing planes for spare parts. God help us all...
