Since healthcare is a big topic this week, I found this interview interesting. Especially the part where he uses Maine as an example of a state doing the right thing then takes a wrong turn by saying he's not clear about the healthcare system in Maine. He didn't want to admit or agree that taxation of all residents in Maine is what keeping costs down and benefiting pre-existing conditions to back up his original argument.

MAJ James Woods The vote had ZERO democrat support (I know shocking right). If it meets the same resistance in the Senate, it will not pass.

MAJ James Woods - Yeah I just finished watching this. Hey look at this the shining example of success. How does it work? I don't know.
One of the things I hate about the ACA is that it seems to put a tax via the penalty on people being too broke for insurance. The idea of getting everyone health care cannot work when it is essentially a poor tax.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - True but the penalty against all those healthy people that opted out of insurance seemed fair while the poor that had insurance received some tax credits. But I did want Congress to continue to refine the law as issues arose, not the blatant obstruct-repeal effort for 7 years.
