"President Biden called for a federal ban on so-called “assault weapons” and standard capacity magazines in a primetime speech to the nation on Thursday.
He called for national “red flag” gun confiscation laws, “expanded background checks,” and allowing gun manufacturers to be sued when criminals misuse their products."
What's wrong with those things? How do those things "trample on the rights" of any law abiding gun owners? You gun nuts are something else.

First. AR-15's have no select fire. They are just a semiautomatic firearm, not an assault weapon. I have a black rifle, it has a pistol grip and an adjustable stock. It is capable of handling any AR mag. So I guess you would call my bolt action rifle an 'assault weapon' and ban it too.
2. Red flag laws deprive an individual of his/her rights from unlawful search and seizure without a legal hearing. To get your rights and property back you will spend thousands of dollars in lawyer fees.
3. Allowing manufacturers to be sued for producing legal products is insane. If you are injured on your motorcycle can you sue the manufacturer, no.
