I suppose you can gain great insight from a single book but I have not found that book yet. I have read scores of them over my 30 years in corporate America. There are many that have good insight in them but you are the author of your own book on your career/life. Don't lean too heavily on others. I have found, through experience, those that produce results usually succeed, those that do not, do not. There is no substitution for results, whatever your field of endeavor is. Pithy quotes and the book of the month will not change your life, results will and understanding how to achieve them year after year.

That's what I finally realized as well and try to share. There is no silver bullet; there is no guru with all you answers. At the risk of using a pithy quote I thought this one was appropriate - "Good judgment comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgment." We tend to overvalue "successes" and undervalue "failures," because in the end there are really only things that worked as planned and lessons to be learned.

It appears, you are putting a lot of effort in presenting yourself. May I ask, what is your goal?
I ask out of curiosity and respect for your previous posts. It is just a question.

Pretty simple really - I love this quote by Zig Ziglar "You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want."

Very well then. I was under the impression you were hiding within complexity.
Have a good night Sir.
