Come together? Easier said/sung than done. I have thought long and hard about it for a couple decades and found no answer. If we agreed on the end goals, it would be possible to find a mutually agreeable to method to achieve them. But we have vastly different goals. Large, powerful central government vs minimal central government exercising enumerated powers only. Freedom with responsibility vs freedom from responsibility. Equality of opportunity vs equality of outcome. The list goes on and on

My respect for him just continues to rise as the years pass.
