I must admit, that was clearly a really good historical catch, certainly...I just still think the filming of him with the kid walking on the beach in that shlock cinematic uber-patriot flick The Green Berets, where the sun was in the wrong direction to begin with, I'd read, was still pretty dumb, though what can ya do, it was decades ago, obv, ya know?

In that last one I'd just sent was this about his OSS stuff...on the last website, there was a mention that he'd tried for Annapolis, which makes me tend to wonder if he'd tried for the other academies as well, or any of the OCS programs, as well as naval intel, which was how Douglas Fairbanks Jr. was able to get in...just a thought....
