Hahaha! I get it. Need to make sure supply drops hit the targeted drop zone without having to see the drop zone. Someone said "if we can make bombs hit their target 99% of the time, we should be able to drop supplies on target 99% of the time", but some body did benefit from this idea financially. Yay for capitalism!

We have been flying with JAPDS for at least 5 years now I haven’t heard of any issues. Keeps the cargo guys out of small arms range while putting the bundle on target.
