Judge Rules Charlottesville’s Confederate Statues Are War Monuments

I haven't settled my judgment on this issue, not yet. It seems that there are those who have a right to be offended by these statues to Confederate war dead, the children of those who fought against them as well as the children of slaves. But are they the ones voicing offense? All too often these days, people (aka SJWs) are the most vocal in their offense even though they are not counted among those with a right to take offense. They seem to bask in pleasure at taking offense or their offense is a symptom of some psychological disorder, and the progressive Left feeds their emotional hysteria to further their agenda, widening the abyss that divides America's House. Their offense doesn't move me. I have no problem per se with these war memorials. They stand as mute testimony of a failed institution that could not stand, even when defended by some of America's greatest warriors. Thus, I am prepared to be persuaded in this debate, either way...

I bet you many of these social justice Warriors drink, do drugs or smoke cigarettes and they would be offended if I told them to stop. I'm sure there are many social justice warriors were probably vegans and don't like me having a Carl's Junior hamburger either. Good or bad, these military leaders are historical.
