The first Women Veterans Day was held on June 12, 2018, marking the 70th anniversary of the groundbreaking Women's Armed Services Integration Act, signed into law by President Harry S. Truman on June 12, 1948. That law enabled women to serve as permanent, regular members of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and the recently formed Air Force.

So do they get to celebrate two veteran's days or is 11 NOV ours and 12 June theirs? I am not a fan of this constant division, feels like we are back in the 40s and 50s.

Because I do not trust Donald to protect our military. Last night on VBC we honored women who served in WW Two and Vietnam. Andrea Hollen, from Altoona, PA is first woman to graduate from West Point. This is the city I reside in.
So I do honor all who serve and served. All of my clinical research combat trauma is to honor all.
