So what I read was, "Due to Obama's failed policies in protecting our borders from the flooding of illegals into the US it became obvious the problem was fatal without immediate intervention. In order to combat this failed policy Obama implemented another bad policy before it became apparent his decisions where damaging to the country and people he swore to protect. Now that Trump has come in and fixing the cause instead of treating the symptoms, the courts now have time to make sound decisions."

Yes but wasn't the criticism against Obama by Trump and Conservatives that Obama wasn't doing enough about illegal immigrants? You can't be the deporter in chief & the lover of illegal immigrants.

The title of the article is misleading, the obama policy dindn't actually speed up deportations, it failed to do that, and apparently caused chaos in the system. So as backwards as this sounds, getting rid of this bad fix will actually speed up deportations.
