This is an amazing movie of graphic proportions and can't display the horrors of war with any more realism than it does. What a hero in Desmond Doss.

To me, this is another "Saving Private Ryan" and "Lone Survivor" showing war is Hell. The storyline and factual presentation are commendable, but I can't take it. You folks that have been there deserve all honors you receive with gratitude.

I've seen a lot of movies, but none where any soldier/troop went to battle and never used a weapon but received highest honors. I went tot he Gulf war. Nothing compared to some of my comrades from years past.
