Again, they (Bush and Obama, etc) were the boss and it was their office. Trump can gladly do the same. It Trump has Kellyanne behind closed doors in his office and lets her do whatever, don't care. It was a "photog" moment with leaders from various communities and organization; professional decorum expectation by all in that room for that photo is where the true criticism lies.

If a female did that in my office my wife would go crazy. She is to comfortable in that office.

LCDR (Join to see) - This is just an office - not a church, mosque, or synagogue. The man is a man - not a god or god's representative on earth. This was not a business meeting - it was just a photo op for her personal photo album. Then again a woman on her knees in the hallowed halls of the white house - a mere few feet away from the violator of women in chief - the optics just don't look so great. I have no problem with her shoes or feet on the couch - she looks very relaxed and pleased with herself. I just don't like the image of any woman on her knees in any men's room - particularly where this man brags about demeaning, humiliating, and controlling women - in person and through laws controlling their very most personal and private choices. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

1LT Sandy Annala - You haven't paid much attention to the women in Trump's life, have you. They occupy significant roles in his business. His wife and daughter run their own businesses. Ivanka Trump is my choice for a future presidential candidate. In fact, I wish she had a role in Trump's administration, although, even without a formal title, she appears to be exerting significant leverage. The whole business in Trump's speech last night about day care for the children of working parents, paid maternity leave, et al, definitely shows her influence.

CPT Jack Durish - There are women in his family - and there are woman in government. Where are the competent women in the white house and in the cabinet? I am not talking about women who are trusted to give birth to more Trump family boys. I am talking about professional women excluded from white house appointments. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

1LT Sandy Annala - Well, you started this thread by complaining about one who had her feet on the furniture. Seems you are less willing to give women slack than Trump is. And while bearing grandchildren for Trump, Ivanka was one of the most competent project/program managers in Washington, the only one to bring a multimillion dollar project in under budget and ahead of schedule (all while pregnant). You aren't paying close attention are you. Just complaining?

CPT Jack Durish - As I said before family members do not count in the problem. Women in the Oval Office should be professional the photo makes Kelly Ann Conway look less than professional. The real problem is the guy does not see women as competent -- therefore does not appoint - nor does he appear to even bother to listen to - any competent women in foreign and/or domestic policy positions. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)
