If the Kurds do the hard fighting to take Mosul, should the Iraqi gov't set up an agreement for Kurdish control of Mosul? Does anyone know of internal Iraqi agreements for a post-Daesh Iraq?

Had we armed. trained and supported the Kurds as we should have ISIS would not be the power that they are today. Nothing I have found during research indicates what post-Mosul will look like in the future. They are willing to stay home and defend their country rather than run and hide at Christian nations while living better than their own citizens.

why are we NOT backing these people more? Because a NATO member (Turkey) says they are terrorists? Turkey is NOT our friend and have been cozying up to Russia. screw 'em. Tell the Kurds they keep what they hold & turn 'em loose. Then recognize 'em as a sovereign nation. THEY'VE EARNED IT!
