I was rooting for the Brewers. But Counsell didn’t use his lineup as well as Roberts did. He never switched up; Cain was always batting leadoff and Braun always third. Schoop never played in the starting lineup. As an Oriole he always hit well, especially with runners on. But Counsell didn’t have him playing, just pinch hitting. Not sure what was up with Granderson, figured he could be sent into left to switch out with Braun ... nope. He kept Braun in the whole nine innings. Yelich, even when he’s not hitting he’s still batting well. The first game with Kershaw he was walked or struck out with at least nine pitches. Just coming off playing the Braves, Kershaw pitched eight innings with 74 pitches. His first game with the Brewers he had 71 in three innings. But overall, despite not liking the Dodgers, Roberts played his lineup better than Counsell. And that’s why the Dodgers went forward, but the Red Sox still going win.
