I remember being stationed there from 1999 to 2003, and having the a/c go out in the dorms one August... first, we were ordered to keep the windows closed to keep in whatever "a/c" was working (there was none), after about 2 weeks, we were finally authorized to move to another dorm if we had reliable transportation (a lot of us ended up at Kelly in the old portion of lodging).

I just love the "keep in the A/C" part...that's absolutely hysterical...ours was generally working in the dorms and class bldg back then, for the most part, as I recall, thank God...obv, that was back in the Ice Age, which no doubt helped keep us cool, of course....
