CW5 Jack Cardwell They are running ads on my smart phone right now that our governor is trying to take our guns away from us. This is true and we need to stand strong against her.

I don't agree about the choice of a shotgun, pistol or carbine, but everyone has their opinion and he makes his argument quite convincingly about a carbine which I assume he means a .223. I however think that a carbine in the hands of a basic rookie shooter with its flashlight, lazer sight just identifies you as a shooter and also shows the intruder exactly where you are....as in follow the light! I would much rather be sitting on the floor or standing in an unlit corner with my Ruger 9mm or my Colt 1911 .45ACP or my Beretta 9mm and warn said intruder I have a gun and if the need arises I will use it. My flashlight being held in my none shooting hand doesn't give him a target to shoot at other than my hand. Great post and it does give a person a lot to digest in his or her plan for their home defense! Thank You!
