WOW I am blocked by CW4 Butler and I have never even seen him before, that is pure cowardice. Now to comment on his misunderstanding of what an ICE Agent does. ICE Agents are 1811 series jobs, meaning criminal investigators. They investigate crimes and make arrests. This is what anyone with a brain will realize is a police officer. Citing the comments of one Sheriff doesn't change that fact. Perhaps he should go back to accounting for property and leave law enforcement to people who understand the topic.

Cpl Joshua Caldwell If you're like most I block, you posted some questionable conspiracy link that I didn't want cluttering my feed. You're now unblocked; try not to screw that up.
As far as the 1811 jobs go, a quick search pulled up the Federal Jobs Digest. The jobs listing include ATF and FBI.

USAJobs also lists ATF, FBI, and IRS, as well as ICE.

Last I checked, all those TLAs investigate crimes and make arrests - yet all of them identify themselves by their agency (except, of course, ICE).

Google ICE special agent or ICE 1811 (that like an MOS for the Fed jobs) and you will see that ICE agents are the exact same job as an FBI, DEA, or ATF agent There are somewhere in the neighborhood of 130 federal law enforcement agencies and most have the 1811 criminal investigator series. Places where you wouldn't expect to find that skill set include HUD, and FIS (the people who do background investigations)

First off, a story that misspelled "Latest" in the headline tends to put a negative bias on whatever's written in the story.
Second, the FBI, ATF, DEA, etc. don't seem to have any problems putting their TLAs out where everyone can see them.
Third (and more importantly), ICE agents aren't getting in trouble for marking themselves as police as they are for pretending to be local police, so they can dodge getting things like warrants. Found three stories highlighting this:

Cook County Sheriff: ICE Agents Shouldn’t Identify as Police
A recent wave of videos on social media show Immigration and Custom Enforcement agents arriving at Chicago residences in unmarked cars, knocking on doors while donning vests and jackets that say “police.”

Is this for real? Just another thing to whine about? "We want to send a message that immigrant communities can trust law enforcement". liberals like specifics...so be specific...What kind of immigrant community? illegal or legal? And like the other comments in here have stated, they ARE police. If you have enough "sense" to want to associate the federal POLICE jackets with local police, and It bothers you...then you are complicit in behavior that warrants ICE in the first place

Now back to Democrat Rep Valesquez from NY That idiot needs to be voted out of office asap. The Rep is failing to represent the American people and working to help people who are illegally in our great nation. I have no idea what Rep Valesquez is good at but I can be sure that functioning as a representative in a republic is not it.
