After reading though the account hazing seems very unlikely as a cause of death SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Since Raheel Siddiqui fell 40 feet down a stairwell he either fell or he was helped to fall to his death. This could be suicide, accidental fall or murder but hazing makes no sense as a cause of death in this death.
When I saw the name Dingell I was somewhat shocked. I wonder if she is related to the other Dingell who was or is a member of Congress.

LTC Stephen F. seems like the status quo is having a say so in this matter.
“Some are concerned that hazing may have been involved in the death of Private Siddiqui,” Dingell said in her letter.

It's a sad story. I hope they get to the bottom of this. He wanted to serve and was a volunteer.

I despise how hazing has somehow become this monster that everyone wants to unleash when something bad happens. It's the military boogeyman. Hazing had/has its place.
