Legally Armed Teachers Explain Why They Carry Guns in Their Schools

It still amazes me that there are folks out there vehemently opposed to this concept. All their excuses became mute when Parkland happened. The ARMED security officer cowered outside, two arriving deputies, cowered behind their cars. These are the ones that are supposed to have the "training" to handle these situations. Every day in this country, ordinary people, who have taken the step to obtain their weapons carry licenses, thwart crimes with nowhere near the training of these professional. It is time to rethink gun free zones, they are killing zones instead and invite the attacks.
Post it on the board outside the school that this is a school where teachers are armed. 2:1 those schools will not be the ones involved in school shootings. My rant for the day.

Remember when as a teenager you had a truck or trunk gun. At least I had a couple, a .22 lr, and a 12 ga shotgun. My buddies had .308's 30-06's and what every was the choice of the month or should I aptly say season. The only school shooting I had ever heard of was at the Univ. of Texas and I was just a young pup then.

Today, should be no different, yet because of an agenda to turn our nation into something it's not we have killing zones everywhere you go. A friend recently returned from a vacation abroad and told me that in the EU there are daily school shootings and the media doesn't cover them because they are blacked out by the EU or nation government.

What should be covered daily is every criminal stopped by an American executing their constitutional right. Sigh, yet the socialist propaganda machine rages on and we hear bull manure more than real news.

Major Robert Thornton you are exactly right areas that have a legal armed presence have a lower percentage of crimes like this like people have said put armed veterans as security and armed teachers in schools and these pos that commit these sort of heinous crimes will think twice I know I would do it
