Lessons Learned from the 2018 Midterm Elections

Yes I was surprised as I thought they would lose both houses. People do not realize that Democrats unified on speaking points in front of a microphone does not equate to Democrats unified on legislation about to pass a House vote. In other words, saying your going to do something and actually voting for a bill are two different things.

President Trump gave a speech afterward (where Jim Acosta sealed his fate as a White House Press correspondent) and I think Trump’s analysis of the outcome was spot on.
