This presentation by Patrick Byrne, a former CEO at Berkshire-Hathaway and the Founder/CEO of Overstock dot com. He discusses ways to solve the "Business" of America. It is well worth watching and includes some things you may not know such as:
The fact that half of the US Debt has been bought by the Social Security Trust Fund (which is why the fund is nearly bankrupt) and that in the near future there is not going to be anyone who can absorb the amount of paper that the United States Treasury is going to have to put on the market. This amounts to the bubble to end all bubbles and if allowed to burst may do severe harm to the country.
He also points out that for every public school classroom (i.e. 26 students) in America there is approximately $500,000 going into the public education system. $50,000 pays for the teacher, $25,000 pays for the building, maintenance, and electricity, and $400,000 goes into "the system" and is never seen again.

Fantastic talk. Thank you for posting. Also, the classical liberalism, to which Byrne is alluding to in his talk is not associated with the political liberalism advocated post new deal era. This is an important distinction that is almost never defined in American political discussion.

You would not like him much, I have heard him speak, he like many of the other US mega-billionaires is a died in the wool Liberal. He supports the estate tax and thinks that genral taxes are too low for billionaires, the American richer is even more liberal
