True story: After Obama was elected, I stopped paying attention to the news. The two things I knew were that the majority of the country voted for Obama, and not a single damned one of them voted for him because of his experience or qualifications. That told me the lunatics were now running the asylum, so I responded by keeping my head down.

Over the years, I got good at avoiding news. So how did I first learn that Trump won this election? It was Thursday Night Football in Baltimore, and there was a huge protest/march/riot outside the stadium, and the announcers mentioned it was because of the election. That's when I knew the Democrats lost, because Republicans don't protest like that. That was the beginning of the tantrums.
