During my time of hiatus, for about two months, I did much Internet searching for comrades I served with starting from thirty years ago to the present. To my sadness, I found someone who was a wonderful, supportive mentor to me early in my enlistment. This individual's life and family did not turn out well. My heart is still breaking over this because through all of the hardships, the individual did not know that she/he had veteran entitlements and services.
