Too Many Bowl Games? Growing up, I remember about 12 or 15 bowl games, with recognizable names, and allowing the very top teams plus a few smaller schools, to represent their conferences. Now there are 40 games - 80 teams, many with .500 records or +1 over, and the names are unrecognizable and dominated by corporate sponsors. Do YOU: like it as is now, or would you prefer a return to a simpler scheme, and one where only the best teams are rewarded with post-season play?

The bowl games are good. Some schools, this might be their only exposure outside their immediate viewing area. That's not to say I watch them all though. Looking forward to be able to watch Arizona State play NC State tomorrow afternoon and the bowl games scheduled for New Year's Day. Thank you for the post COL John McClellan
