I went to Grafenwoehr in 1990 and never heard, nor saw, anything about this tragic accident.

Over the years, there have been more accidents/incidents of negligence than get publicized. 50 cals during outside the range fans, arty short rounds/over shooting, tank rounds, TOW missiles breaking their wires and going whereever they want...

I served at Ft Knox with a Female Warrant who’s Father was killed in that accident.
