Murdered for not agreeing with someone. Murdered for having an opinion they don’t agree with.

He gave a voice to so many that will not be heard from now that he is gone and almost all of them disagreed with him. Conservatives were not silenced today, young, displaced liberals were silenced.

I saw a graphic video of this and he felt no pain. I just hope his kids dont go looking for these videos when they are of age.

SFC Mark Merino - Most people should never see a video like that. I have seen plenty of trauma I do not recommend people ever see if not in their line of work.

LTC Matthew Schlosser - I think his spine was severed and the vessel hit was collateral damage. I suspect the shooter was taking a headshot and not a good enough shooter at that distance to calculate bullet drop. Hard to really narrow it down with only one shot but I think it probably was 5.56. Aiming for the nose would get you just below the jaw. Very sad as Charlie Kirk gave many who did not have a voice just that, a voice, and often times people that disagreed with him.

First video I saw, it looked looked like it was about the right clavicle. Second video I saw was from his left. From that angle, I feel it hit the artery and severed the spine based on how his head dropped and how he slumped to the left. Based on what I saw, I would say he was dead before he hit the ground. I wish I had not seen those videos.

MSG (Join to see) - While these kind of videos are disturbing, I watch them for educational value. I do not feel you can get enough understanding of trauma to the body and the more you see and think about what has happened, the better you are prepared to treat it. I do not think this was survivable but had I been there, hemostats to the vessels would be a first start. Jamie Smith, soldier's death portrayed in Black Hawk Down, dying from a femoral bleed they could not get to similarly crossed my mind. Scene management comes to mind, can I safely approach the patient without also being shot and what resources do I have to keep me safe and get the patient out of harms way.
