Local lawmaker offers right-to-carry bill - The Northwoods River News

LTC (Join to see) I am a big fan of constitutional carry. I enjoy firearms. I like to shoot. I like to look. I like to see what others are shooting at the range. I think that having a firearm comes with the responsibility to ensure that one knows how to safely operate that weapon (handling, cleaning, marksmanship, etc...). As a supporter of our freedoms I would not questions one's right to carry their firearm as they see fit to do so. I would suggest that open carry may open up to being a bigger target for a criminal element. I hope Wisconsin passes this law. Any state that alleviates restrictions on constitutionally protected freedoms is taking steps in the right direction in my book.

The folks in Madison will fight this with their elitist liberal logic, let's hope that the thinking members of the state see what's right and pass the bill.

I'm glad to see do many states stepping up and doing this.
