Today's Oath Parade for the Class of 2025:
A total of 1,241 New Cadets take Oath of Allegiance to the US Constitution and the military chain of command Tuesday morning on the Plain at West Point.
The Class of 2025 begins its 47 month tenure at West Point composed of 1,225 members who are American citizens from all 50 states and territories, 16 international students from allied countries. The Class drawn from applicant pool of nearly 14,000 contains 302 women, and 504 minorities.
"These young patriots are coming here to devote themselves to becoming custodians of Duty, Honor, Country and United States Constitution. Their robust performances in academics, athletics, leadership in a persistent Covid-19 environment show they have the necessary foundation for successful completion of a challenging 47-month West Point experience."

International students are drawn from Bosnia Herzegovina, Georgia 2, Jordan, Kosova, Montenegro, Niger, Peru, Philippines 2, Poland, Qatar, Romania, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand.
The New Cadets will now have six weeks of Cadet Basic Training culminating in the traditional "March Back" from Camp Bunkner and the Acceptance Parade on Saturday Aug 14th at 10 AM.
