(CNN)As Philadelphia prepares to host the 2016 Democratic National Convention and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original "Rocky" movie, there's one more reason to celebrate.
The City of Brotherly Love been named the top U.S. spot to visit in Lonely Planet's 2016 "Best in the U.S." list.
The only World Heritage City in the United States, Philadelphia also has plenty of history to keep the curious visitor busy, including the historic National Constitution Center, the Liberty Bell and the Benjamin Franklin Museum.
