Looking for Veteran to explain the importance of the Pledge of Allegiance

Honored to be able to teach the 3rd grade class of Mrs. Roesener of the Bowie Middle School in Dallas Texas about our Pledge of Allegiance. Excellent summary of the entire Pledge. Many times, the most impactful statements are those that require very few words. You nailed it.

SGT Michael Thorin I only have seen half of it so far. Very impressive my friend. You DO have a talent to teach. Those kids were hooked and that is hard for third graders.

SGT Michael Thorin - listen Sgt Thorin. Take credit where it is due. Your presentation was was a solid "A" in teaching terms. I was a teacher and graded many student teachers. You have it young man.

Thank you Doug. I've never been very good at accepting "attaboys". I was always great at accepting responsibility when something bad happens. However, when I would get those "good job" pats on the back, it was always felt more natural to divert the credit to the group.
