Looking on the bright side does not automatically fix the darkness

Did you make it through the suck and tough times, just to live life isolated and alone? Sadly a lot of veterans resign ourselves to this fate because we do not know how to cope with our past nor intergate wiht the world and we do not know how to free ourselves from the weight we carry. The greatest gift a man can give is sacrificing himself so others can live. So as veterans and people who did make it back, as an honor to those who did not, should we not be living the best and most fulfilling life that we can live? An ancient Navajo proberb says "the greatest gift the creator gave us is life, so the best way to honor him is to enjoy it".
