If you are in the Rio Grande Valley Just south of Rio Grande City is Texas Road goes south to Los Banos which is home to the last ferry across the Rio Grande River.

Yes we parked our trunk and took the ride over. Waited one round trip then went back across. Pretty Neat. Just above the Ferry is a favorite crossing for Illegals because the river is so shallow you can walk across.
