Low-Rated Schools Scare Troops Away From Alabama Air Force Base

When we moved to Charleston, SC they were busing the AF brats to the other side of the city to populate inner city schools. After the third day of me coming home talking about all of the fights my parents pulled me literally out of class on the fourth day and drove me to another school to finish out the year. The next two years my step-brother and I went to a small Catholic school.

Thankfully, when my boys were in school we were in areas with excellent schools.
