Lt. Col. in charge of Corps' 1st Recon relieved of command

I read articles like this and wonder how much is really lack of management skills and not leadership. His has an impressive record of leading troops in the field which is different then managing troops in Garrison. Thoughts?

Field and Garrison two separate animals. Perhaps a bit longer transition time from field, to the stream.
