If I could talk my wife into letting me buy another rifle, the 6.5 Creedmore would be at the top of the list.

Interesting article. I haven't really paid much attention to the 6.5 Creedmore until the Army started considering it as a replacement for the 5.56mm, it does have some impressive numbers.

Dropped a 250lb boar in its tracks at 150 yds in August, but it was a head shot (ear hole), so most calibers would have had same result. Recoil was more enjoyable than a .308.
