SFC Chad Sowash - I haven't read his book, probably won't, but lets look at what he said. he said that ISIS and Russian hackers are using sophisticated tools. No surprise there, if my memory serves correctly, the NSA hacking tool set was stolen recently and put up for sale on the dark net. He is hawking a book based on speculative information. and we are back to capitalism.

You should probably read the book - the NSA tool kit wasn't what was used.

The NSA tool kit was also several years out of date when it was "put up for auction". One of the main theories that the auction was never actually legitimate, but a way for Moscow intelligence to make a show of force against American intelligence agencies. The hacking tools could have been sold on the dark web, but they chose an auction site...nothing about the NSA hacking tools event made sense. The parts of the software they showed did show legitimate breaches of NSA and other intelligence agencies, but it never went past that...a show. And the auction itself was later cancelled.
