Hoax or not, it caused me to laugh. Kudos to SGT (Join to see) for posting a bit of humor. Sometimes we need to remember the humor in half of the fires we as techs have to put out.

When I was first starting out as a civilian engineer I ended up removing an entire production directory off the Novell 3.12 file server. In itself that wasn't a bad thing because you could always pull it back BUT me wanting to do the best job I could do, purged the deleted cache.
I think everyone ends up doing something they shouldn't have done when they first start out. I think everyone has been bit by the "Write" command inside the Cisco CLI, if it's not written to to the Startup.Config file then it's just like it never happened.
Now those happened a long time ago, these days I take my experiences and use that knowledge to mentor others.
