Since working in Albuquerque, there is a strong, armed, Conservative populace that believes in self-defense and in this case claim they are collaborating with law enforcement to protect businesses from vandalism and looting.
Unfortunately, more video evidence has come out showing the shooter had pushed a female protester to the ground. Other protesters responding by chasing him to his vehicle, at which point he drew his weapon and shot one of the protesters. So it sounds like another case of escalation turning into self-defense. The argument will be who was the aggressor, the militia guy pushing the protester or the protesters that chased him?

MAJ James Woods - Exactly what I was thinking. What is the objective. What are the tactics. What is the purpose of the guns, I shows the ability to use lethal force. When do you use lethal force? What happens when things escalate. What is the ROE?

Militia groups that have no connection to law enforcement, military, or government are nothing but a bunch of armed civilians. As far as I'm concerned the only ROE they should abide by is what the law dictates for all open-carry jurisdiction: self-defense in situations involving threat to life only.

Moderates and Independents are nothing more than bargaining chips for the extremist viewpoints to manipulate.

That's American culture for us, Jack. If any nation could've figured that out, we would have world peace by now.
