I don't think Colorado (where I currently live) can sell enough pot to cover that expense! Holy cow! And we are slowly turning to a blue state. :'(

One thing we never hear is the Federal Government running out of money to support non Americans. But we do see shoddy service from the VA, military compensations that are reduced or eliminated, and we see added taxes on each citizen.

That is always the case sir. Unfortunately, the two protections our Founding Fathers never thought of are special interest groups with deep pockets and citizens who see personal profit in government. Nowadays, being a politician is a life long pursuit. The main reason to be a politician is to personally benefit from special interest's deep pockets. If emotions can be manipulated to put me in office for another term - then screw the facts.
The Founding Father's intent, as I've deduced over the years of study, was for the common citizen to set aside the plow-share, serve The People for 4 (POTUS) or 6 (Senate) years then go back to the plow. My belief was that SCOTUS was partially added as the 3rd branch to make sure we poor non-law educated folks did not blunder with what we tried to pass as law. Did it support the Rule of Law or did it break it. Now, it is all just perverted to benefit the Oligarchy.
