As with all equipment. I know, we have units down because the major part we need is on back order.

True and when the "back order" nature of our logistics system is normalized too much that it handicaps our operational readiness, I would hope DoD and supporting agencies do a better job addressing the problem with a long term solution. I watch two tank battalion's worth of M1s deadlined for two months in Korea because track parts were on backorder. We were grinding metal on some tanks.
