This is like when the joining one of the services, they get to boot camp and then someone writes home about how the DIs yell at him because his rack wasn't made, everyone else sucks it up then the cry babies parents calls there senator and it is blown out.

This seems pretty damning unless the LtCol said something threatening in their argument, and even then one has to wonder why there is an argument to begin with.
