Marine Veteran Rob Riggle Plays His Former Commanding Officer in the Movie '12 Strong'

Thanks for sharing my friend LTC Ivan Raiklin, Esq. that USMC Rob Riggle went on the CONAN talk show Wednesday to promote the upcoming Second Annual Rob Riggle InVETational Golf Classic. The tournament, held in partnership with our friends at We Are the Mighty, takes place on December 4th at the North Ranch Country Club in Los Angeles and will raise money for the Semper Fi Fund.

Rob appears in the upcoming movie "12 Strong," about the U.S. Special Forces team that was the first group of men on the ground in Afghanistan after 9/11. The actor plays Colonel Max Bowers, a guy who happens to also be Rob's commanding officer when he served in Afghanistan. He talked to Conan about the movie and Col. Bowers on the show.
