Marines Announce Male & Female Infantry Will Share Tents In The Field

Males and females are no more likely to have sexual intercourse in the field than they are at home, especially given that in the field everyone is around everyone. I live in a barracks unit with both men and women (admittedly more of the first), and I have not had sex with any of them. In my opinion, this coed thing is not even an issue.

Why is this even news?

It's the right call. I was afraid that they were going to continue the segregation policies that were in place for non combat arms.
