This would have been done by a number of my ancestors. My 12G Grandfather, Elder William Brewster, and others were on the Mayflower, the first Europeans in Massachusetts. They were the “First Thanksgiving” people in America.

SGT (Join to see) Had a Dudley who was a senior in my Corps of Cadets Squadron when I was a freshman. Obviously he was nothing more than Sir or Mr Dudley to this lowly freshman.

There is quite a bit of difference between the Pilgrims and Puritans. I’m descended from Elizabeth Tilley from the Mayflower and Deacon Simon Stone, a Puritan, who sailed to Massachusetts in 1635. Both groups had their religious and philosophical differences but eventually worked it out. Neither group got along with the Quakers.
