Mattis slams Pentagon for wasting taxpayer dollars in Afghanistan

Secretary Mattis needs to change one part of that - drop the "in Afghanistan." The amount of waste, fraud, and abuse in the DoD is incredible (from someone who's worked in the Pentagon and as a senior at a DoD field activity). We need an overhaul of acquisitions processes as a start.

It's funny how nobody speaks about lobbyist in Washington anymore. You would think that reporters would follow them around everyday finding out what laws they are trying to change to hurt the middle class.

I didn't read the article, but don't the Pentagon work for him? When I was in business, if one of my groups squandered their budget, next budget for them would be smaller.
