I find it interesting that people say the illegal arrest numbers are down which means we have no problem. WAKE UP. We still have a problem when people illegally come into the country. We have no idea the next threat such as 9/11. Everyone said it could not happen. No one would crash a jet. But it happened. Now people tell me that no terrorist will exploit holes in our border. That does not make me feel safe!

SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint - Yes, it is time (actually way past time). But it must be Congress that focuses and takes action, not the President. POTUS is only supposed to propose a budget, propose actions. Then it is up to Congress to do something about it.

MSG Stan Hutchison - That sounds wonderful that Congress should take action. In the last 3 decades I am not seeing any solutions. I was impressed with their idea to abolish ICE. A few have talked about tearing down the existing walls. They scare me. Next their protection doctrine will be for GIs to not put any protection clothing on. No MOPP and no Ballistica Protection. That sounds as smart as no border wall.

I was stationed at Kelley AFB in San Antonio, Tx from 94-97 and still have friends down in Texas and they say it is worse than what the news is telling the American people. The illegals are bringing drugs and diseases here.

Legal aliens have to be checked for diseases that are not in USA, it is also helpful to them, since they can be exposed if they do not have vaccines.
