You just can't make this stuff up. Maxine is living proof that ANYONE with an IQ Six Sigmas to the left of 100 (if I need to explain the significance of this distribution then you are probably NOT going to understand the answer) can be elected as a Liberal

She's not the dumbest member of Congress but she keeps the dumbest ones scrambling to hang onto their place at the bottom of the heap. The problem is that people with access to the public airwaves keep pointing cameras and microphones in her direction and voters keep voting for her simply because she's thus familiar to them.
